Carousel Farm, a summer day program, builds and nurtures an inclusive and accepting community, where teenagers with mild developmental disorders can participate and succeed in innovative social, recreational and educational (vocational skills) activities.  The idyllic setting is a perfect environment for every friend – horseback riding, instructional & recreational swim, gardens, a petting zoo, sports fields and courts, music,art, opportunities to work on individual goals and embrace unique talents.  Teens are provided opportunities throughout the day to participate in vocational experiences including serving food, cleaning and building maintenance on a farm, farm animal care, garden and grounds keeping, small office tasks, and apprenticing in child care.

Our structure and traditional “summer day” activities provide opportunities to shine in the summer sun -- mixing opportunities for work with experiences at play!
